The Company

Carling Jones Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors is an established Estate Agency located in a prime position on Skipton High Street.  Specialising in both Residential and Commercial Sales and Lettings throughout the local area, this leading independent estate agent is growing very quickly.

The Role

As part of our continued expansion we are now looking to recruit an experienced Sales & Lettings Negotiator to work as part of an established team in our busy Skipton office.

This fast paced, exciting and ever evolving role will initially involve:

•Working in the Sales and Lettings Department of this busy estate agency 

•Registering purchaser/tenant details and matching them to available properties

•Booking property valuations/viewings

•Conducting accompanied viewings

•Regularly updating clients with interest and feedback

•Arranging and conducting regular property inspections of management properties and arranging maintenance issues with contractors

•Negotiating property sales and lettings and liaising between purchasers/tenants and vendors/landlords

•Progressing your sales through to a timely completion, liaising with all parties concerned

•Working closely with other Negotiators, sharing information to secure additional business

•Being part of an enthusiastic and driven team, working towards common goals

The Applicant

You will already be working as an Estate Agent, ideally with a minimum of 12 months experience and have a strong knowledge of the industry, a clear passion for property and a good knowledge of the local area.

Minimum Requirements:

•Good negotiation skills.

•Possess a strong understanding of the Sales Progression process.

•Want to develop a long term career in the sector.

•Determined and committed, with the drive to develop your skills and knowledge.

•Extremely smart and well presented at all times, with excellent communication skills

•A good understanding of Estate Agency and the sales/lettings process.

•Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

•Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

•Confident and able to work alone, as well as be part of a team.

•Able to work to targets.

•The applicant must hold a full UK driving licence
